Media Advisory - Washburn University Hosts "From Immigrant to Activist: An Evening with Luis Estrada" Thursday, March 5

WHAT: Local community organizer Luis Estrada will share his life story of immigrating from Mexico and discovering the key role civic engagement played throughout his journey. Estrada's visit is cosponsored by the Washburn University Sociology and Anthropology department, HALO, and WUmester. This event is free and open to the public.
