Topeka, Kan. – Washburn Tech has now cancelled classes from March 16 through March 29. Classes will tentatively resume on March 30 but the final decision will be made closer to that date. This decision to close for the next two weeks was made after the Shawnee County Health Department ordered the closing of Shawnee County Schools.
While classes are being cancelled, the campus will remain open and employees should report as scheduled.
The spread of the COVID-19 virus will be continually monitored and plans will be reviewed and updated in a timely manner and all updates will be shared on Washburn Tech’s website at www.washburntech.edu. There is a special link on the home page for coronavirus information.
