Topeka, Kan. – Washburn is partnering with the Topeka Shawnee County Public Library to host “Reframing Topeka: How Do We Improve Topeka?” Participants will be provided with information about four possible ways to improve our city and then discuss the options. The public is encouraged to attend this free event and are asked to RSVP to washburncas.eventbrite.com. Free parking is available in the lot closest to 17th and Jewell. Masks are required.
When and Where: Tuesday, October 26, from 4-6 p.m. in the Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center on the Washburn University Campus.
Details: The meeting will begin with a brief overview, then will place participating individuals in small, facilitated groups to discuss issues and share ideas. Groups will be given information about four possible ways to improve Topeka and will be asked to discuss the options.
