Media Advisory: Washburn University Wind Ensemble to Perform Sunday, Nov. 21

WHAT: The Washburn University Wind Ensemble will present a concert Sunday, Nov. 21 in White Concert Hall. This will be a concert with Washburn’s bassoon instructor Austin Way and guest composer Dr. Stephen Michael Gryc. The Washburn University Wind Ensemble has been recognized nationally for their performances. This concert is free and open to the public; masks are required inside White Concert Hall.

WHEN: Sunday, Nov. 21, 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.

WHERE: White Concert Hall, on the Washburn University campus

DETAILS: The program includes Fanfare for an Angel, 2 Portraits for Bass Drum (8 Hands), Golden Gate, Guignol for Bassoon and Wind Ensemble and Masquerade Variations.
