Topeka, Kan. - Washburn University department of political science chair and well-known political campaign expert and commentator Dr. Bob Beatty will deliver a Political Science Gleed Lecture concerning the 2022 Kansas elections. The lecture is free and the public is welcome.
When: 7 – 8:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7
Where: Henderson Learning Center, Room 112, on the Washburn University campus
Details: Beatty will examine the race for Kansas Governor which has set records for the amount of money spent and received national attention. He will also dive into the Kobach-Mann race for Attorney General, as well as the races for State Treasurer and Secretary of State.
- There will be a special focus on the 3rd District Congressional race between Sharice Davids and Amanda Adkins, which has been dubbed "the most competitive race in America."
- Beatty will look at the most recent polls and TV ads and what may swing the election either way.
Beatty has been interviewed about the 2022 Kansas Elections by the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, CNN, NBC News, Bloomberg News, Fox News and moderated three live debates for KTWU-TV.
