Topeka, KS – The Washburn University department of music and theatre will host their annual Brass Day Nov. 18. Brass Day 2023 will conclude with a concert featuring world-famous trumpet player Allen Vizzutti. High school students participating in Brass Day will also perform in this concert, along with guest trombonist Dr. Nathan Siler. This concert is at 5 p.m. on Nov. 18 in White Concert Hall. The public is welcome.

Washburn faculty performing include Andrew Hakenewerth, trombone, Dr. Bryce Call, trumpet, Dr. Anya Pogorelova, conducting the wind ensemble, and Dr. Craig Treinen, conducting the jazz ensemble.
