Topeka, Kan. - Five Washburn students are participating in this year's Kansas Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol. Students, faculty, Kansas Board of Regents members, state lawmakers and members of the public are invited to visit the Capitol Rotunda 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. March 1 to view the students’ presentations. This event is free.
“Kansas Undergraduate Research Day brings together college students from around the state and state leaders to highlight issues of importance and interest to all of us,” said Lindsey Ibanez, assistant director of the Center for Undergraduate Scholarly and Creative Projects, which coordinates Washburn’s participation in Undergraduate Research Day.
Other participating institutions are the University of Kansas, Kansas State University, Wichita State University, Pittsburg State University, Fort Hays State University, Emporia State University and the University of Kansas Medical Center.
