
Topeka, Kan. – Washburn University Theatre will present “Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind (30 Plays in 60 minutes),” a play by Greg Allen, February 21, 22, 27, 28 and March 1 at 7:30 p.m. and March 2 at 2 p.m. in the Neese-Gray Theatre in the Garvey Fine Arts Center, on the Washburn University Campus.
“Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind” is a unique ensemble experience that presents short plays selected with audience participation during a 60-minute time frame. Each night is essentially a new show because the order and content could change based on audience input. The show offers a fun challenge for actors and a delight for the audience to see a variety of entertaining topics in an hour.
“Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind” is directed by Tiffany Brooks Hagan with assistant director Lauren Province, set design by Deb Bruner and costume design by Knox McClendon. The cast features Washburn students Clayton Smith, Elliot Pruitt, Gage Gooding, Taylor Moore, Jaxon Schroeder, Noah Hart, Grace Thacker, Jillian Drummond and Caroline Scarbrough.

Tickets are free for Washburn students, faculty and staff, and are a suggested $10 donation for general admission with a pay-what-you-can option.
